Our fire station is currently unprotected, with no automated fire alarm system in place. We currently have simple smoke alarms but since we are a volunteer department and not staffed 24/7, a fire in our station could go unnoticed for too long, potentially causing significant damage before help arrives since these smoke alarms do not notify 911 automatically. This could result in the loss of our emergency services, putting the entire community at risk. Also, a system like this would have to be installed once the inside of the station is complete, which we are drawing very close to doing.

That’s why we’re launching a Brick Fundraiser to help fund a new, 24/7 monitored fire alarm system that will provide automatic 911 notification in the event of a fire—giving us the protection we need to keep serving you! This system will also lower our insurance costs, freeing up more funding for life-saving equipment and training. Due to the strict requirements on fire alarm systems, our volunteers are unable to assist with the install to help reduce costs, meaning we must pay full price.

We’re selling custom engraved bricks 𝟒"𝐱 𝟖" 𝐟𝐨𝐫 $𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡, and 𝟖" 𝐱 𝟖" 𝐟𝐨𝐫 $𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡, with an option to add clipart for $𝟔 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞.

Each brick costs $20 to make and ship, meaning $80 from each sale goes directly toward the $21,000 fire alarm system.

Our goal is to sell 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬, 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 $𝟏𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎, and working with The Ford Family Foundation, to cover the remaining balance!

You can buy more than one brick if you'd like to make an even bigger impact!

Once we reach our goal, the bricks will be laid as a sidewalk leading to our station’s entrance, making your support a permanent part of our firehouse.

-If we do not reach our goal after 6 months, the sold custom bricks will be placed on the sidewalk regardless of how many we sell and the remaining gaps will be filled with blank bricks.

We did a similar fundraiser years ago, and those bricks have been proudly displayed around the planter in front of our station. Now, we're offering a new opportunity for you to leave your legacy and help protect our fire station for generations to come!
